My name is Albert Linda and I am a Ph.D. student at IIT Kanpur, where I am working under the guidance of Dr. Somnath Bhowmick. My research interests lie in the field of computational material science, specifically on the study of planer defects in metal and alloy materials. I utilize cutting-edge atomistic simulation techniques such as density functional theory, molecular dynamics, and microstructural modeling techniques like phase field to gain a deeper understanding of the effects of internal and external parameters on these defects.
